Training Therapy
What is exercise therapy?
What can my pet expect during training therapy with BEWUSST BEWEGT?
In physiotherapy, medical training therapy or movement therapy is primarily used for targeted muscle development in damaged regions, whether after an accident or due to a degenerative-chronic process.
Once the mobility and/or healing of an injury has been sufficiently restored after passive mobilisation in the course of manual therapy, the body must specifically re-approach the natural movement patterns, some of which are unfamiliar to it.
Under the supervision of a physiotherapist, the right amount of strain and intensity is selected, the execution is controlled and thus the most effective build-up of musculature is achieved. In this way, unstable structures are stabilised and pain-free mobility is gradually expanded.
At BEWUSST BEWEGT we distinguish between- assisted training therapy (or physiotherapy), which is guided and implemented with or by the therapist
- accompanying training therapy for everyday life, which corresponds to exercises implemented by the owner with the animal from a training plan specially prepared for the patient.
Our goal: to increase strength and endurance, improve coordination and mobility and thus actively prevent injuries.
Assisted Training Therapy
Accompanying Training Therapy
Together with you, we create a plan for effective training therapy that is individually adapted to your pet's needs and your possibilities and abilities. Work with us specifically on maintaining the health or healing the musculoskeletal system of your animal and achieve the goal with us that your animal can move as painlessly and with pleasure as possible.
In order to achieve success as quickly as possible, but above all in the long term, it is very important to take the therapy and training "home" with you. Muscle development and learning new movement sequences live on constant repetition, which is why we are always anxious to give our patient owners adequate exercises and tips for everyday life as early as possible.
During the therapeutic treatment, the owner learns what is important in the patient's general movement. Together with the therapist, measures are selected that are adapted to the patient's environment, compliance and the owner's abilities in dealing with the animal. In this way, an individual training plan is created that enables the owner to be actively involved in the recovery of his four-legged friend.
