About Us
Our team - two is better than one
Here we handle things according to the motto "four eyes see and four hands feel more than two".
We attach great importance to good training, empathy, discretion, good communication and the ability to be aware of one's limitations.
We are also happy to exchange information with your veterinarian, dog trainer or other therepeutists who are treating your pet in order to achieve the best possible therapy results.
We are happy to assist you and your pet in word and deed.
Maria Schindler
Since my birth I have never lived without animals. Besides the classic guinea pig and rabbit, I grew up with cats and later with a dog. Riding and dealing with horses was limited to holidays and weekends due to my place of residence and financial situation, but it has never stopped my fascination for horses. After graduating from high school, I decided to go to Canada for almost a year to work on a cattle and horse ranch. Driven by the desire to continue working with animals, I later completed a 3-year training course to become a physiotherapist for dogs and horses, where I met my current colleague Theresa.
Because the thirst for knowledge didn't let up, I have been studying equine science at the Free University of Berlin since 2020, which has benefited my work as a physiotherapist a lot so far.
When I was about 10, my mother once said to me that she wished I had as much patience with her as I had with animals. I'm sure she would still like to say that sometimes today, but I wouldn't want to miss this quality.
Theresa Leuschner
Therapist for physiotherapy and acupuncture for dogs and horses.
I grew up with dogs and have been riding since childhood. So dogs and horses have grown very close to my heart. Today, in my everyday life in the big city, they help me to pause again and again, to recharge my batteries and to reflect on myself. Since they still give me a lot in everyday life, I decided to give something back to them and learned a healing animal profession. To do this, I successfully completed a three-year training course at ATM as a physiotherapist for dogs and horses with an additional qualification in acupuncture in June 2019.
As a physiotherapist I enjoy the closeness to the patient, feeling with the hands and the movement work with the body. In addition to physiotherapy for dogs and horses, I also offer acupuncture for both types of animals.
